Clubs and Organizations

  • National Honor Society: Includes students in grades 10-12 that meet NHS qualifications. This organization helps with events such as Junior High Scholastic Day hosted at Spalding Academy. 

  • Student Council: Includes students in grades 9-12 that are elected by their class. They help with events such as the school lock-in, Homecoming, Catholic School Week, Advent Service, and end-of-the-year events. 

  • Yearbook: Twelfth Grade students produce and publish annual yearbook. 

  • Chess Club: 7-12 graders meet at 7:20 am Wednesday mornings to explore and play chess.

  • LEGO League introduces science, technology, engineering, and math to children through fun, exciting hands-on learning. Teams of students in grades 4-8 engage in research, problem-solving, coding, and engineering - building and programming a LEGO robot that navigates the missions of a robot game. 

  • FFA: Spalding Academy FFA is a new chapter started in 2023. Students compete at livestock judging, Leadership Development Events (speech), Career Development Events, Junior High Quiz bowl, Ag Science Fair, and State FFA Convention. Students have placed in the top 10 at District Livestock Judging and in the top 3 in Ag Science Fair at State Convention.

Spalding Academy partners with Riverside Public School for middle school and high school sports.
